Remembrance Day

November 11 may be behind us on the calendar, but our memory lives on. Remembrance Day is a memorial day to remember and honor the men and women of the armed forces who lost their lives during WWI. In the United States, this date was formerly known as Armistice Day, and renamed in 1954 to Veterans Day to honor all veterans, reminding us to honor and thank those who are serving or have served in the military.

November 11, 2018 commemorated 100 years since the end of the “War to End All Wars” on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
