Ebsco: This suite of databases provides abstracts and full-text articles from a variety of general interest magazines and newspapers. Issues and Controversy: Issues and Controversies is a database that helps researchers understand the crucial issues we face today, exploring more than 800 hot topics in business, politics, government, education, and popular culture. Updated weekly, with links to a 12-year back-file, Issues and Controversies offers in-depth articles made to inspire thought-provoking debates. This database is great for research papers and debate prep.

Mango: helps libraries support the wide variety of language diversity by offering Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Japanese, French, German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, and ESL languages. Mango is the way to fulfill all your professional, personal and educational language needs.

Newsbank: This database provides full-text articles since 1989 from The Union Leader and the NH Sunday News, October, 2002 from The Concord Monitor, and since January 2009 from the Goffstown News.

Novelist: is a reader’s advisory database. It enables users to enter authors, specific titles, or themes of fictional works that they have enjoyed, and the database will produce a list of similar works based on the selected criteria. Click here for a tutorial on how to use this e-source.

TAB:

Teens in grades 6-12 are eligible to become Teen Advisory Board (TAB) members. The TAB helps library staff create teen programs and services and also helps with the selection of teen materials. Meetings will be once a month. Please register online @ www.goffstownlibrary.com to attend.
