E-sources:

Electronic databases allow you to find information from anywhere that you have Internet access in a more precise and controlled fashion than you can on the WWW.

Because we subscribe to these databases, access is restricted to our patrons. On the “remote patron authentication” screen, enter all of the digits of your barcode (found on the back of your Goffstown Public Library card). Kidsearch, Searchasaurus and NoveList K-8 are databases specifically geared towards a younger audience. You can view the entire alphabetized list and categories at our E-Sources page, or go directly to Homework Help/Education.

Kid Search KidSearch This database indexes periodicals that are of interest to younger researchers and titles that are likely to be useful for school assignments.

searchasaurus"" Searchasaurus Searchasaurus is a reference database for elementary and middle school students. It provides an exciting graphical interface designed for young researchers.

Novelist K-8 NoveList K-8 is a reader’s advisory database for juvenile fiction. It enables kids to enter authors, titles, series, or subjects of fictional works that they have enjoyed, and the database will produce a list of similar works based on the selected criteria.
